Aspiring Sports Writers Met the Pros

Photography: Ronaldo Santiago
Adventurer In the Huddle: 1st National Campus Sports Writing Congress.
Last November 8 and 10, 2010, I covered a sports writing congress for pupils and students. The congress nurtured aspiring sports writers by power speeches from professional sports writer like Jonas Terrado of the Manila Bulletin, sports broadcasters TJ Manotoc and Patricia Bermudez-Hizon, veteran sports scribe Bong Pedralvez and more.
I had taken hundreds of images of the 2 day event and here are some few picks!

Day 1
Manila Bulletin sports writer Jonas Terrado shared tips in taking notes quick by writing in shorthand or stenography.

Patricia Bermudez-Hizon dicussed things to do and not to do during a sport event.

TJ Manotoc talks about on court stats.
Philippine Daily Inquirer's Francis Ochoa talks about life in the game.
Mav Gonzales MC'd day 1.

Day 2
